Before we stared talking about the film we were supposed to have watched this week Dan had a few things to get off his chest about the new Independence Day film and it somehow turned into a mini episode of Remedial Nerding...
How do you go on after such a journey?
Finishing our journey with Mal and the others has left the Nerds feeling a little like Sam at the end of Lord Of The Rings.
How do you carry on your life when a journey like that has come to an end?
In this rather rambling Tangent the Nerds discuss their ideas.
Some things seem like a good idea at the time.
Some times they still seem like a good idea once you've finished.
Watching the Star Wars Holiday Special together made it past the first hurdle, but fell far, far short of the second.
Whether it was Paul or Nathan who suggested watching it together is lost to the mists of time, which is probably a good thing as it means we don't know who to go and beat up.
Unlike the main podcast, this is recorded as a sort of 'sing along' with the audio track from this youtube video. If you want to watch with us: start the video, spin on to 0:00:30 and then mash play when you hear us call it.
You have been warned.
We had been warned.
We watched it anyway.
A long time ago in a tie in far, far away...
Dan seems to think that they are. Nathan and Paul disagree.
On the 19th of October 2015 Disney released the first full trailer for The Force Awakens and for some strange reason Dan refused to watch it. Nathan and Paul had no problem with doing so however, but they were curious as to how it stacked up against the last time a new Star Was trilogy was imminent, so on the 27th (against their better judgement) they decided to watch the trailer for The Phantom Menace too.
Listen below for their thoughts.
